Master Arrives

Master was greeted by a dance performed by a gold and a red lion when she arrived. Looking happy, relaxed, and jubilant to see everyone, Master said that the dragon dance is an Aulacese tradition to welcome distinguished guests like those sitting in the audience. She jokingly mentioned that she had been enticed to deliver a public lecture in Fresno because the initiates tried many charming ways to tempt Her, including a feast of delectable delicacies that were to follow the lecture.

She added that She was in Fresno to introduce the Supreme Master Ching Hai, and Her greatness makes it an honor for Her too. As a manager of the great company of the Quan Yin family, She solves problems for anyone who seeks Her assistance. As a capable and competent woman, She taps into Her omnipotent power to change into a handsome man or beautiful queen to help those in need.

Life Is a Transitory Hotel

Master began Her lecture by saying that She had been overcome by a sense of loneliness during Her stay at the hotel the previous night, when She saw only corridors and doors around Her. But She felt fine as She could meditate in the hotel and travel to other realms. We, too, can be simultaneously present in two different realms--Earth and Heaven, if we practice this meditation. If we practice well, we can be in many places on the same planet, or on different planets in the same universe at the same time.

"Life is like a hotel. I come into my room. I start unpacking. I apply a little makeup so I look presentable to you. But I know that it is not my home. I have to go in a couple of days. Likewise, the spiritual practitioners know that this is not Home. If we practice every day, we will go up to our new Home, to the mansion of God, and come back and forth. If we come and go every day, we will never forget our real Home," Master said.

Spiritual Help is the Best Help

A person going from Sacramento to Fresno has a different experience than someone who has only heard about it. It is one thing to hear about Fresno, to hear that we are the children of God, but it is different than really knowing it. If we know our real Self, no problems will be too difficult for us, and no danger can really hurt us. Spiritual help is the best help. When we help others, we can also help them spiritually. In times of physical or spiritual need, Master helps us. But later on, we have to help ourselves, and then help our parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and future generations.
