THE KUAN YIN METHOD
While each spiritual Master's life is unique, the spiritual path (method) they take is and always has been the same. That path is the path of meditation on the heavenly Sound and Light. Supreme Master Ching Hai has called this the Kuan Yin Method, because Yin is a Chinese term that means the inner Vibration (inner Sound).
This primal vibration or Sound is in its nature transcendental and therefore perceived in silence. Jesus' disciples called it the "Holy Spirit" or the "Word" (which is from the Greek word "Logos," meaning sound). "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." After Shakyamuni Buddha attained enlightenment, He spoke of this Sound too, calling it the "drum of immortality". Krishna equated Himself with the "sound in ether". Mohammed perceived this Sound in the cave at Gare-Hira when He had a vision of the archangel Gabriel, and Lao Tzu described the Tao as the "Great Tone".
Spiritual light also manifests as an aspect of the Divine Presence. Hence, the great Masters impart both transcendental Sound and Light. As the Supreme Master Ching Hai explains:
"So, we get in contact with this Spirit, which is a manifestation of divine Light and Vibration, and by doing so, we know God. In fact, it isn't really a method. It is the power of the Master. If you have it, then you can transmit it. The method is a transcendental one that cannot be described by our language. Even if someone describes it to you, you will not receive the Light and the Vibration, the inner peace and wisdom. Everything is transmitted in silence, and you will see your old Masters like Jesus or Buddha. You will receive all that you need to follow their footsteps, and little by little you will become Christ-like, and you will become one with God."

Why do we practice the KuanYin Method? It is because we want to understand everything in the universe. Beyond the physical light of this sun, there is a greater, brighter, and more beautiful Light. Beyond our worldly languages, there is a greater and more beautiful Language. When we have learned this Language, this Sound, we will understand all languages, including human languages, as well as those spoken by all sentient beings.
A-Z, Q/A, magazines
By practicing the Kuan Yin Method, our vibrations become very fast and we feel more energetic, just like young people. We become more alert, able to figure out problems easily, and smart like young people. Therefore, we can say that we become rejuvenated.
By practicing the KuanYin Method, we change our spiritual condition, concepts and wisdom, and also our bodily organs and cells, which become refreshed and purged of toxins. If we have no time to meditate, these changes will not take place. If we are busy working hard for the multitude, or when we are too exhausted, these changes are not discernible. Otherwise, each time we meditate, all our cells are renewed; therefore, we say "return to childhood". We become younger not only in mentality, but in body as well. We feel healthier, our body becomes more supple, and our skin more tender. As all toxic substances are eliminated, we look better and better each day.
Except for the Kuan Yin Method, I have not noticed any other method that can bring about changes that are so fast and marvelous. As you all know, there are many forms of exercises and tonics in society that claim to make people younger. However, the results have been unimpressive; even the people selling the tonics grow older themselves. (Master and everyone laugh) They also do not look pretty. Right? (Yes)
Only the Kuan Yin Method can rescue people from this desire. It doesn't matter what force of karma. If you practice the Kuan Yin Method, it will erase everything. It makes you deaf to every other temptation and desire. It just lifts you right up from everything, just like a helicopter lifts a person right up from a sea of burning fire or a sea of freezing water. So it doesn't matter how much fire or how much water, you are unharmed. That is the value of the Kuan Yin Method.
Our own inner Master has great wisdom. Hes knows what we should use and what we should do to avoid causing harm to ourselves, intervening in other people's affairs, and messing with the law of this world. This is different than the very limited miraculous power registered in our minds. If we know certain miraculous powers, then that is all we have. If we derive miraculous powers by practicing the Kuan Yin Method, then these are inconceivable and we can use different powers under different circumstances.
Without this great wisdom, we become easily confused in spiritual practice. Without a good teacher, we are easily misled. As a result, we learn only a certain part and follow that part alone instead of the whole and perfect one. Many religions emphasize the learning of this and that, and lots of techniques and magic; they do not stress the discovery of our Original Nature.
After we join the practice of the Kuan Yin Method, we have only one common language. It becomes very easy for us to communicate because we share the same ideal and the same spirit of serving and offering to others.
