Special Reports----Echoes Of The Australian Retreat

Our real Self never changes, regardless of the circumstances, regardless of one's outer appearance. Our real Self is always focused and if we rely totally on that real Self then we are more stable and more complacent. We will not be swept away by life's "tidal waves" that can batter us from all sides.

During the recent retreat in Australia, we experienced an unique "Zen joyfulness" as a result of a torrential rain, strong winds and unbearable cold, just as this world approaches the culmination of spiritual transformation. Some people struggled hard, some found their inner bliss through resolute concentration, and some created a Heaven on Earth with their sacrificing spirits.

Warm, fine days will definitely follow rainy ones, and so it is that the situation of the world is subject to this pattern too. But first let us work hard to polish ourselves to become shining examples for all the world to see.
