<Report On Assistance To The Needy
In Formosa, March 1998>
The
monthly relief activity got under way as scheduled, as initiates in Formosa,
bringing Supreme Master Ching Hai's love, paid their monthly visits to their
friends in need. In spite of their unfortunate situations, these ailing and
destitute souls have found the courage to face the trials and counter the
obstacles standing in their way, as they receive warm and loving concern from
more and more people in society.
Initiates
offered them words of encouragement, looking forward to that day when they
would emerge from the darkness and sea of bitterness to rise in joy and exuberance.

my gratitude, and I can only say "thank you" to all you loving
aunts and uncles.
Best wishes for your good health and success.

was ready, local inhabitants came up for the services. Sister initiates moved
their hands quickly and with agility as they trimmed the children's hair.
Brother initiates who are licensed doctors diagnosed the physically unwell,
while sister initiates who are qualified pharmacists prepared medicine for
the patients. Other initiates separated into groups to take care of children

their appreciation to Supreme Master Ching Hai. Accompanied by the town magistrate,
another group of initiates visited needy households to offer financial contributions
