World Lecture Tour
The
people of Tokyo are known for working under great pressure and having
a somewhat cold demeanor. However, their cold attitude was only
a false appearance, because within, the Japanese people are truly
warm and earnest at heart. During distribution of the leaflets,
the Formosan fellow initiates studying in Japan sought the help
of their fellow students in translating. Many of these students
later gained faith in the teachings and requested initiation into
the Quan Yin Method or the Convenient Method of meditation.
The
rain on the evening of the lecture did not deter the crowds. People
came from far and near to attend the lecture and the hall was packed
both inside and outside. Many people requested initiation into the
Quan Yin Method or the Convenient Method of meditation that evening,
and the small Japanese branch of the Quan Yin family grew.
