For The Needy From October to November 1998
Helping Others Is Helping Yourself When several typhoons swept through Formosa, they caused extensive damage in many areas around the island. Fellow initiates visited needy households, bringing Master's love and concern in the form of daily necessities, food, and relief funds.
In carrying out the monthly relief work, we have come to realize that Master not only provides material aid to the needy and orphaned, but also comforts and elevates them spiritually. Our visits and conversations with the less fortunate have given us greater understanding of life and helped us come to cherish our merits even more. We have also learned to make our lives more lively and meaningful.
