It is very important for me to express my deepest appreciation both on my own behalf and that of the Nicaraguan government, for your noble humanitarian actions, solidarity, and contribution offered to our dear Nicaragua in these moments of great need.

As we are going through a very difficult and painful time, your cooperation will be of great help in encouraging our brothers who have been affected by the disasters caused by Hurricane Mitch.

You can be sure that we'll never forget this great gesture of brotherhood, for which our Lord will know how to compensate you.
